8:00am                         2 carbs^                        1 english muffin

                                    1 meat*                        1 egg               

                                    1 fat                             1 tsp margarine

 
 
10:00am                        1-2 carbs                      whole wheat crackers (15-30grams carb)

                                    1 meat                          1 ½ oz. low fat cheese

 
 
12:00 noon                    3 carbs                         2 slice whole wheat bread, ½ cup pasta

                                    2 meats                        2 oz turkey

                                    2 vegetables                 2 cup raw vegetables

                                    1 fat                             1 tsp mayonnaise

 
 
3:00pm                         1-2 carbs                      ¾ - 1 ½ cup cheerios

                                    1 meat                          1 cup low fat milk

 
 
6:00pm                         2 carbs                         1 hamburger bun

                                    3-4 meats                      3-4 oz hamburger, 1 oz cheese

                                    2 vegetables                 ½ cup green beans/ 1 cup tossed salad

                                    2 fats                            2 tbsp regular or 4 tbsp diet salad dressing

 
 
10:00pm                       2-3 carbs                      1 ½ cup fat free, no sugar added ice cream

                                    1 meat                          2 oz nuts (~1/4 cup almonds)
